The Health Care Systems Department deals with activities related to the design and development of IT systems and services in the health care and biomedical area, using advanced tecnologies and methodologies.
Department's activities cover mainly the following application areas:
Web-based systems for the management, monitoring and analysis of multicentric clinical trials
Epidemiological registries/observatories
Web-based integrated systems as models for the epidemiological and economic surveillance in the Italian Local Care Units
Web-based systems and IT infrastructure for management, monitoring and planning internal activities of Health Care Organisations and scientific associations.
